Launch Commands Right From Your Browser
This application lets you run any external application from the toolbar using custom arguments to launch different commands such as sending links and text.
You can create a toolbar button or a number of context menu items to launch external executables directly from your browser by using the "External Application Launcher" extension. It takes command-line arguments of your choosing out of the current web page and passes them to the external application.
The extension gives you some of these features:
- You have the option to send the current page to another browser.- You can send a text editor a selection of text.- You can send a specific text message to your external email client by opening it.- You give an outside download manager a download link- You can transfer image URLs directly to the photo editor of your choosing.- You can use an external application to browse links that match certain patterns.
